“I am in an unusual circumstance in that my 93 year old mother is lucid, active and lives 3000 miles from me. She does not need personal care (feeding, bathing, dressing) but she does need help with odd things around the house, changing beds, getting groceries. The care agencies I contacted did not seem willing to help with those types of needs. I called Lee for help, and she immediately provided me with exactly the information I needed to find the perfect caretaker for my Mom. Before making a decision to put my loved one in this facility, I called on Deserving Care to accompany me to the nursing center to guide me in what to look for in the facility to see if this was the right place for my family member. She gave me a list of questions to ask, and she directed me to look at the Maryland State Survey Results which documents any type of neglect or abuse done to patients.
