As a Registered Nurse working in multiple healthcare settings,  there was little time to devote full and complete attention to one individual patient/client.   As an employee of  ahospital, nursing homes, home care agency, etc.,  I was under the constraint of doing as much as possible in as little time as possible.

As a result, I wanted to start a business where I was not required to make the maximum  amount of home care visits – or care for the  maximum  number of patients within an 8 hour shift.  I  often  wondered  “If only I had a little more time, I could have done a better job…I could have  really made a difference…”

Subsequently, in 2010,  I founded and became sole owner of Deserving Care, LLC.  Over time I have learned that quality overrides quantity each and every time. I now have the opportunity to spend as much time as necessary to focus on one client/family member’s individual concerns and needs.

If the need is to accompany a family member for 4 hours on a Saturday morning to help them make an informed decision about the appropriate living environment for their loved, I am now able to do so.

If there is a need to spend a few hours doing caretaker/caregiver research for a family member, I am now free to do so.

This is where Deserving Care has positioned itself as unique.
