DESERVING CARE GERIATRIC LEGAL NURSE CONSULTANTS provide an informed professional opinion to attorneys working in Elder Care, Elder Law, and Elder Abuse and Neglect.

DESERVING CARE is available to make onsite, investigative visits to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Private Homes.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Deserving Care is to provide expert nursing opinion and advice to attorneys.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure the highest standard of care for our senior and geriatric populations.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

• Review of Medical Records for case merit
• Assistance to attorneys during the discovery, deposition and trial phases of litigation
• Perform research relating to acceptable standards of care; including the identification of breaches from these standards
• Prepare reports on the extent of injury as it relates to causation. (i.e.,  physical, verbal and financial abuse, falls leading to serious injury, neglect and wrongful death)
• Act as a liaison between the legal and healthcare fields; including the interpretation and translation of medical/nursing jargon
• Conduct onsite elder care nursing assessments
